I distinctly remember two gifts from my childhood: a skillet and The American Heritage Dictionary.
Since then I have always pursued my passion for food, whether cooking, eating, reading cookbooks, or studying culinary history.
And I was thrilled to work on The American Heritage Dictionary, 3rd edition, as a contributing editor during graduate school.
To marry these two passions, I love my freelance work as a recipe-tester and copy-editor.
