Truth be told, when I cook for myself or for an event, like Guido’s Cookbook Club Potlucks or a dinner party, I often pick something challenging!
But I do remember all those years as a single working mom, as a teacher who always had papers to grade and lessons to prep, while also helping with homework and ferrying kids to and from various activities. During those years I used to plan menus and cook recipes that were not challenging or labor-intensive.
And I did that without ever buying a jar of tomato sauce. I always made my own, and it’s really easy!
I can help you learn to execute lots of recipes that require little active time but will be much better than anything you can get from a jar or a box.
